1. What Legiqo is
Legiqo is a personal tool for organizing your financial and legal documents, tracking assets and liabilities, and surfacing information about your own data using AI-assisted features. Legiqo does not manage your money, execute transactions, or act as a broker, advisor, or fiduciary. Any figures, summaries, or suggestions Legiqo shows are generated from the data you provide and may be incomplete or wrong — you are responsible for verifying anything before relying on it.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Legiqo. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms to create an account.
3. Your data, your ownership
You own the data you put into Legiqo — your documents, assets, liabilities, notes, and everything else you add. We store it on your behalf so the app can work; we do not claim ownership over it, sell it, or use it to train AI models. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.
4. AI features
Legiqo uses third-party AI providers to read documents, answer questions, and generate summaries, insights, letters, and checklists based on your data. These outputs are AI-generated and may contain errors, omissions, or things that don't apply to your situation. AI features are never a substitute for professional financial, legal, or tax advice, and Legiqo never uses AI to choose beneficiaries, nominees, or executors on your behalf — it only ever points out where that information is missing.
5. Document processing
When you upload a document, it is stored in your private storage bucket and, if you trigger extraction or a question, is sent to an AI provider for that single request. Documents are not used by providers to train their models and are not retained by them beyond what's needed to process your request. Extracted details are AI-generated and should be checked against the original document before you rely on them.
6. Household sharing
If you join or create a household, other members you explicitly invite may be able to see information you choose to share. You control what is shared and can leave a household or revoke sharing at any time. We are not responsible for how other household members use information you've shared with them.
7. Emergency access
Emergency access lets people you designate request access to certain records under conditions you configure. This feature is provided as-is, is not a legal power of attorney, will, or succession instrument, and does not guarantee that access will be granted, timely, or legally binding. Use a qualified professional for actual estate planning, wills, and powers of attorney.
8. Payments & subscriptions
Legiqo is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans or subscriptions in the future, updated terms covering billing, renewals, and cancellations will be presented before any charge, and you will need to accept them separately.
9. Limitation of liability
Legiqo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for financial decisions made based on information shown in the app, including AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Deleting your data
You can delete individual records at any time, or permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Some information may be retained briefly in backups or logs as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Legiqo after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Legiqo will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
